香港特別行政區第七屆立法會選舉投票于12月19日約23時順利結束。這是完善選舉制度后香港特區舉行的首次立法會選舉。

　　With voters casting their ballots at more than 600 polling stations, 90 lawmakers for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's seventh LegCo were elected from the Election Committee, geographical and functional constituencies.

　　選民在全港600多個投票站投完票后，香港特別行政區第七屆立法會選舉選委會界別、選舉分區、功能團體界別共90個議席全部產生。

　　【知識點】

　　立法會（Legislative Council，LegCo）是香港特別行政區的立法機關，由選舉產生。根據香港基本法，香港特區立法會行使的職權包括：根據香港基本法規定并依照法定程序制定、修改和廢除法律（to enact, amend or repeal laws in accordance with the provisions of the Basic Law and legal procedures）；根據政府的提案，審核、通過財政預算（to examine and approve budgets introduced by the Government）；批準稅收和公共開支（to approve taxation and public expenditure）；聽取行政長官的施政報告并進行辯論（to receive and debate the policy addresses of the Chief Executive）等。

　　為落實“愛國者治港（patriots administering Hong Kong）”原則，確保“一國兩制”實踐行穩致遠，中央“決定+修法”與特區“本地立法”于2021年共同完成香港選制修訂。

　　根據全國人大常委會修訂的《中華人民共和國香港特別行政區基本法附件二香港特別行政區立法會的產生辦法和表決程序》，新一屆香港特區立法會由90名議員組成，其中包括選舉委員會選舉的議員（members elected by the Election Committee constituency）40人、功能團體選舉的議員（members elected by functional constituencies）30人和分區直接選舉的議員（members elected by geographical constituencies）20人。

　　153名候選人競選90個議席，每個議席均有競爭。

　　In the Election Committee constituency, 51 candidates vied for 40 seats, in the functional constituencies, 67 candidates contested for 30 seats, and in the geographical constituencies, 35 candidates competed for 20 seats.

　　選舉委員會選舉中，51名候選人競爭40個席位；功能團體選舉中，67名候選人競爭30個席位；分區直接選舉中，35名候選人競爭20個席位。

　　特區政府財政司司長陳茂波、律政司司長鄭若驊投票后表示，

　　The very diverse background of the candidates is conducive to making more diverse voices heard, so that the HKSAR government can better promote good governance for the overall interests of Hong Kong.

　　此次立法會選舉的候選人背景非常多元化，有利于將來政府施政時能夠聽到更多不同的聲音，更好地從香港整體利益出發，推動良政善治。

　　香港特區行政長官林鄭月娥參與第七屆立法會選舉投票

　　林鄭月娥：感謝逾130萬選民投票

　　"I want to express my sincere thanks to the more than 1.3 million voters who cast their ballots today," HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam said in a statement after the polls closed.

　　香港特區行政長官林鄭月娥在第七屆立法會選舉投票結束后發表聲明說，衷心感謝當日投票的超過130萬名選民。

　　"Their votes are not only to elect the LegCo members of their choice, but also to support the improved electoral system. The votes also reflect their expectation for the HKSAR to enhance the effectiveness of its administration, and through this, to develop the economy and improve people's livelihood," she said.

　　他們的一票既為選出心目中的立法會議員，也是支持經完善的選舉制度，反映他們對特區切實提升管治效能，發展經濟、改善民生的期望。

　　香港特區第七屆立法會任期將于2022年1月1日開始，任期4年。
