　　China's spending on research and development (R&D) hit a new high of 2.44 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021, up 0.03 percentage points from the previous year, , according to a report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).After deducting price factors, China's R&D spending in 2021 rose 9.4 percent year on year, said the NBS.

　　國(guó)家統(tǒng)計(jì)局26日發(fā)布數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2021年我國(guó)R&D經(jīng)費(fèi)與GDP之比再創(chuàng)新高，達(dá)到2.44%，比上年提高0.03個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。按不變價(jià)計(jì)算，R&D經(jīng)費(fèi)增長(zhǎng)9.4%。

　　The country's total expenditure on R&D amounted to about 2.79 trillion yuan last year, up 14.2 percent year on year.

　　據(jù)初步測(cè)算，2021年我國(guó)R&D經(jīng)費(fèi)投入達(dá)27864億元，比上年增長(zhǎng)14.2%。

　　Investment in basic research stood at 169.6 billion yuan last year, accounting for 6.09 percent of the total R&D spending, up 0.08 percentage points from the previous year, the data showed.

　　2021年我國(guó)R&D經(jīng)費(fèi)中基礎(chǔ)研究經(jīng)費(fèi)為1696億元。基礎(chǔ)研究經(jīng)費(fèi)占R&D經(jīng)費(fèi)比重達(dá)到6.09%，比上年提高0.08個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。

　　“2021年我國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)持續(xù)穩(wěn)定恢復(fù)（the steady recovery of the Chinese economy），創(chuàng)新動(dòng)能有效增強(qiáng)（enhanced innovation drivers），促進(jìn)R&D經(jīng)費(fèi)增長(zhǎng)。企業(yè)研發(fā)費(fèi)用加計(jì)扣除、改革科研經(jīng)費(fèi)管理和項(xiàng)目管理等激勵(lì)政策不斷完善（improved incentive policies）及落實(shí)到位，進(jìn)一步激發(fā)了R&D主體投入熱情。”國(guó)家統(tǒng)計(jì)局社科文司統(tǒng)計(jì)師張啟龍解讀數(shù)據(jù)時(shí)表示。

　　"Global Innovation Index 2021" released by the World Intellectual Property Organization showed that China has made continuous progress rising from 14th rank in 2020 to 12th in 2021 among 132 economies.

　　世界知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)組織2021年發(fā)布的全球創(chuàng)新指數(shù)（GII）顯示，我國(guó)科技創(chuàng)新能力在132個(gè)經(jīng)濟(jì)體中位列第12位，較上年再提升兩位。

　　China should further accelerate the implementation of science and technology policies and improve the mechanism for diversified investment to provide strong support for achieving high-level self-reliance in science and technology, Zhang said.

　　張啟龍指出，我國(guó)未來(lái)應(yīng)進(jìn)一步加快推進(jìn)科技政策落實(shí)落地，完善多元化投入機(jī)制，為實(shí)現(xiàn)高水平科技自立自強(qiáng)提供有力支撐。
